Do You Need a Break From It All?

What a magical place this stone cottage atop a hill turned out to be. We have watched the clouds turn from grey to cream to purple over the hill, spied shy roe deer outside the kitchen window and dined with friendly red squirrels darting in the tree overhead. The cottage is not only beautiful but also calm and a real retreat from the world.

We have thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic week in this wonderful cottage. We have climbed, strolled and meandered then arrived back here to a warm and comfortable haven. This week has been so good for the soul and we can’t wait to return.

We simply have never tired of the smashing views the cottage has to offer. Also a great platform for experiencing the myriad of activities on offer in the area.
